Stone Roofing

Having laid roofs for The National Trust and Cadw and consulted for English Heritage on design, we've built a reputation as one of the country’s premier stone roofing contractors. We help quarries ensure quality in the production of traditional hand-dressed stone tiles and are experts at gauging diminishing courses and laying the tiles.

We can also supply and lay imported stone tiles for private clients to suit a budget, which are more cost effective but still offer a traditional, dressed-stone tile roof.

Dore Abbey, Herefordshire

Dore Abbey, Herefordshire
Large parts of this substantial structure date back to the Abbey's founding in 1147, though it was restored and added to in the 17th and 18th centuries. Giving it a new roof was a logistical challenge due the vast number of stone tiles needed.
